Today I wanted to talk about one of the underdog cosmetics line which isn't very popular partly because it is so hard to find!! Essence is one a really low-cost drugstore make up line that is in the ballpark range with Wet n Wild, NYC, and E.L.F.
If you are Canadian you can find all the products at Shoppers Drug Mart.
For the purpose of this blog post all the prices will be listed in USD and links will be to Ulta for Americans. The shoppers website does not list the prices and you cannot purchase these online either.

2: Ever been in love? Yes!!! Who hasn't? It was young high school love. I loved him very much at the time. Thought he was the world but as time goes on, we all mature.
3: Ever had a terrible breakup? Unfortunately :( The highschool relationship to date is still the worst one. I haven't had one that emotionally scarred me. It has a lot to do with the age, I was young so I did not know how to handle heartbreak. Ever since I learned to use my mind over my emotions when getting through difficult situations.. it makes it a lot easier to reason.

But most of all we believe in the same values and morals which really keeps us grounded. I love her to pieces and would literally do anything for her.

Give you some background context for this randomness.
For all those who don't know what Lent is... It is a religious observance in the religion for Christianity. Lent begins on Ash Wednesday and ends on Holy Thursday in the Roman Catholic Church. This is in preparation of catholics through prayer, penance and recognizing their sins which lead into Good Friday (Jesus' Death) to Easter Sunday (the resurrection of Jesus Christ)
During this time, many Roman Catholics give up something they love for lent which lasts until Easter (celebration) and it is roughly six weeks.
This year Ash Wednesday is on March 5 and Easter Sunday is on April 20.
I am planning to give up many things:
No Make-Up buying
No Junk food
No Alcohol
(No Meat is something you should already be doing)
I have three of the shades! The Black, Brown and Eggplant! I am obsessed with these Gel Liners. They last for a solid 4 months before they start to dry! The brush it comes with is the best! Easy to line the eyelid with and create that flawless cat liner. This is by far one of the best drugstore gel liners on the market. I have super oily eyelids and it does not transfer, really pigmented and application is smooth and dries so it wont budge.
This is my go to eraser for those dark circles! Being a student I barely sleep. This formula is hydrating, lasts all day, really easy to blend into the under eye area and provides coverage to hide the discolouration. It comes with a sponge applicator on the top and is a twist up! So much product jammed in for $10! I have backups of these babies!
You want drama? Okay well settle down, cause its about to get LOUD or just volumized. Ha! I'm talking about your eyelashes! The waterproof one is my go to because it holds a curl better and it makes my eyelashes appear longer and volumized! Definitely pick this one if you haven't so already.
Maybelline Colour Vivids Lipstick in Pink Pop - $7.97
Oooooh baby. I cannot rant and rave more about this lipstick! This ALMOST replaces lipbalm I SWEAR! So comfortable on the lips, great bright colours that I honestly wear year round.. The colour on my lips is absolutely outstanding AND it is longwearing! The whole line is amazing and I am obsessed! Don't forget to clear the inside of your lips because having lipstick on your teeth is not good but bright colours are even easier to notice!
OH MY GOSH! THIS IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST EYE MAKEUP REMOVER EVER. This has an oil to it to moisturize the eyes and AHHH! It removes my waterproof mascara! This takes everything off your face with just ONE cotton round. I have tried a BUNCH of eye removers but nothing compares to this one. Note of caution though, if you don't like oil eyelid feeling then skip this. BUT the feeling goes away pretty soon.
